Speech and language therapy group and individual sessions

Our preschool organises group speech and language therapy sessions for children who require speech correction.
Preschool-aged children experience the most significant development of speech; therefore, this is the best time to develop their speech and address any existing difficulties. The sessions take place in groups, once a week, in a relaxed and stress-free, play-based environment. During these sessions, the children carry out exercises to improve their articulation, as well as auditory, breathing and logorhythmic exercises, whilst developing their physical and phonemic hearing. All exercises are adapted to the child’s individual needs and aim to effectively and permanently eliminate all speech disorders.

English

From a very young age, exposure to a foreign language is a key part of language learning.
This is the best time for exploration and learning, as a child’s mind is at its most receptive during this period. At HAPPY Preschool, English lessons take place in all pre-school groups twice a week. Through spontaneous music and movement games, the children learn vocabulary and songs in English. During the lessons, the children use English-language textbooks. The lessons are led by a teacher with a teaching qualification and a native speaker.

Rhytm classes

Twice a week, during rhythm classes, children develop their aural skills and musical memory through rhythm-based games. Thanks to these classes, children are introduced to musical instruments and learn songs and dances. Through movement and music, they improve their ability to concentrate both aurally and physically. Exercises and games involving rhythm are an excellent way for children to express themselves and develop their personalities. Music classes help children to build their self-esteem.

Psychological support

All children at the HAPPY Preschool receive specialist care from a psychologist. Psychological therapy aims, through observation of the children and consultation with teachers, to identify a child’s developmental issues and take appropriate action to address them. The sessions help to resolve behavioural, emotional and social issues. The sessions include activities such as fairy-tale therapy, relaxation and psychomotor exercises, etc. Sessions with the psychologist take the form of both individual and group sessions (depending on the needs of the group and the children). The sessions take place once a week.

Corrective gymnastics

Corrective gymnastics at our preschool is a combination of health, exercise and great fun! During the sessions, the children strengthen their muscles, develop good posture and improve their coordination and physical fitness through engaging exercises and physical activities. The programme is adapted to the children’s ages and needs, and everything takes place in a safe, cheerful atmosphere that encourages the development of good habits for the future. It’s excellent support for parents who want to look after their child’s health and posture from a very young age.
